UPDATE 10/31/16: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's New Orleans mansion is officially off the market.

The home sold Friday for $4.9 million — $1.6 million less than what the former couple (sniff sniff) listed it for nearly a year and a half ago, according to the Associated Press.

Listing agent Nina Killeen confirmed the deal to the AP, stating, "It sold for a very fair price. It's a good deal for both parties. They're happy with the outcome."

The sale comes a little over a month after Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September, citing irreconcilable differences (again: sniff, sniff).

Pitt and Jolie, however, still own plenty of property: a mansion in Los Feliz, California, which Pitt purchased in 1994, a sprawling estate and vineyard in the South of France called Château Miraval, and rumor has it, a $3.8 million villa on the Spanish island of Mallorca.

UPDATE 12/3/15: Six months after listing their historic New Orleans home, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have lowered the asking price by $850,000.

The couple originally listed the circa-1830s mansion for $6.5 million, according to Zillow, but Brangelina are now asking $5.65 million for the four-bedroom main house and two-story guesthouse. And considering this is the house from which Brad Pitt famously tossed a beer over to Matthew McConaughey, it's quite the deal.

It looks like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are ready to say goodbye to the historic New Orleans mansion they've called home for the past nine years. People.com reports that the superstar couple recently listed their French Quarter home on the open market for $6.5 million.

The charming home was built in the 1830s, according to Variety, and includes a four-bedroom main house with four full baths and two half baths. And although a separate guesthouse does add an additional bedroom—bringing the total up to five—the home is still quite modest for the famous family of eight (especially considering bedrooms usually far outnumber family members in celebrity mansions).

Inside the home, stately features, such as Venetian plaster walls, a spiral staircase and marble mantels, sit alongside modern luxuries like an in-home elevator.

Brangelina purchased the mansion for $3.5 million in 2009, after Pitt became heavily involved in rebuilding homes destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Their reps assure People.com that the couple will remain active in rebuilding New Orleans' Lower Ninth Ward through Pitt's Make It Right foundation.

There's no word on where the couple and their six children are moving next, but according to their rep, it will be somewhere "more off the beaten path."
