Just call him Big Daddy.

MTV’s Rob & Big star Chris “Big Black” Boykin, who is 375 lbs. and 6′ 6″, will soon be a dad.

“I’m just going, ‘Hey, I know it’s going to be a girl, so I can prepare myself for that,'” Boykin, 35, told PEOPLE at the Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground Stand Up for Skateparks fundraiser in Beverly Hills Sunday. “Other than that, it’s a great feeling.”

Boykin’s daughter is due Feb. 15, he says, and will be named Isis, after the Egyptian queen.

“I would just say you have to learn on the fly,” Boykin says, when asked who is giving him advice about fatherhood. “You pick up all the good things, and everything else you learn on the fly.”

Boykin, who plays the bodyguard to pro skateboarder Rob Dyrdek on Rob & Big, sees skateboarding as a way to relate to children.

“You’ve got to keep in tune with what these kids are into, so I can make sure I’m on top of my daughter,” he said.
